Smarter System Management with the New Dashboard

Firmware 80 introduces the Dashboard, a centralized interface that consolidates seven key system metrics—device information, system loading, storage volume, HDD status, hardware status, current user, and camera list—into one clear overview. With real-time visual charts, administrators can monitor system health at a glance and quickly access details on storage, HDD, and camera connections via hyperlinks.
The Dashboard also supports exporting system reports (PDF) and logs (ZIP), simplifying maintenance and helping minimize downtime risks. By enabling proactive monitoring and faster issue detection, the Dashboard improves operational efficiency and ensures stable NVR performance.

Time-divided Search: Timestamp Markers for Multi-channel Playback Tracing

Time-divided Search is an advanced video search method, allowing users to quickly locate critical footage by splitting a video segment into multiple clips (2×2, 3×3, or 3×4) for simultaneous playback.
With Firmware 80, this feature is enhanced with Timestamp Markers, administrators can add up to 12 markers on the playback timeline to highlight important moments. This makes it easier to trace incidents across multiple cameras — for example, tracing the movement path of a fraud ring’s money mule, or monitoring a suspicious vehicle across different camera zones.

Preset Points Setup for ONVIF PTZ Camera

FW80 enhances operational convenience by allowing users to set preset points for ONVIF PTZ cameras directly in Liveview without the need of accessing the camera’s configuration page. Through the PTZ control panel, users can easily adjust camera positions and optical zoom. Once preset points are defined, patrol schedules can be created for automated and more efficient surveillance.
