Support H.265 IP Cameras and Introduce DG-Decode

DIGIEVER, a world leading company of IP video surveillance management system, today launched new firmware 64 version for Linux-embedded DIGIEVER NVR server, including UHD series and Pro+ series. In Firmware 64 version, DIGIEVER NVR supports H.265 network cameras for recording, local /remote monitoring, video playback and backup. Powered by Intel GPU technology, DIGIEVER develops an advanced H.265 and H.264 hardware accelerated video decoding technology, named DG-Decode, to offer users a real-time and crystal-clear monitoring experience.

H.265 Solution for Video Recording, Monitoring and Playback

With the development of H.265 video compression format and the launch of H.265 IP cameras in surveillance market, DIGIEVER NVR starts to support H.265 IP cameras by upgrading to firmware 64 version. Users can enjoy two main benefits when using DIGIEVER NVR and H.265 IP camera solutions. Firstly, compared to H.264 video codec, H.265 can smooth network by saving around 50% network bandwidth than H.264. Secondly, video recorded in H.265 can use less storage capacity to save videos than H.264, which means user can keep videos for longer time in case of any accidents.

DG-Decode: DIGIEVER Hardware Decode Technology for H.265 and H.264 Camera Solution

DG-Decode is an advanced H.265 and H.264 hardware accelerated video decoding technology that is powered by Intel GPU technology to provide an ideal surveillance solution for real-time monitoring and video playback. DG-Decode is applied on DIGIEVER product lines with liveview and playback functions, including DIGIEVER NVR, DIGIEVER CMS, Failover Server, Backup Server, Video Wall Station, Streaming Server and etc.

Firstly, DG-Decode helps users to experience real-world video clarity by decoding up to 12 megapixel resolution with no distortion that delivers clear images and outstanding color.

Secondly, DG-Decode can decode up to 60fps video captured from cameras allowing users to easily identify rapid and continuous moving objects on liveview monitoring and multi-channel playback page for diverse applications such as  casino, airport, city surveillance and traffic monitoring.
