DIGIEVER Releases Firmware 72 Version
with Reliable POS Monitoring Solution

DIGIEVER is glad to announce that firmware 72 is officially launched for Linux-embedded DIGIEVER NVR UHD and Pro+ series. Especially the new products DS-4200 UHD series with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, USB 3.2 ports, and dual HDMI2.0 high-performance display make a debut this season to bring you a more brilliant surveillance experience. In addition, DIGIEVER introduces the application of DIGIEVER NVR with POS terminals which includes four main features, liveview OSD display, playback OSD display, playback footage and thumbnail, and POS data search to help users strengthen transaction security and reduce financial dispute. What’s more, DIGIEVER NVR offers single HDD volume for video recording, lets users know the date of video recording files in each HDD, and makes it easy to replace the failed ones.

Based on DIGIEVER all-in-one NVR functionality, firmware 72brings DIGIEVER NVR more flexibility and customization to cater to users’ diverse monitoring requirements that deliver more value to DIGIEVER IP video surveillance solution.

Reliable Transaction Surveillance Solution with POS

DIGIEVER NVR provides POS solution for both small business and large enterprises to efficiently increase transaction security and effectively control financial disputes between employees and customers by synchronizing POS data and camera videos. DIGIEVER NVR supports up to sixteen POS terminals and associated sixty-four cameras to help users achieve real-time monitoring. With POS liveview and playback OSD display, users can double confirm accuracy of cashier’s transactions and search for evidence across multiple POS terminals.

Additionally, users can intuitively find POS transaction timing and quickly have POS thumbnail when mousing over the POS footage. Moreover, POS data search lets users have sales list content overview, find out related transactions and export videos and data lists with keyword inputs.

Single HDD Storage Volume for Video Recording & Intuitive Storage Volume Pool

DIGIEVER NVR starts to support a more flexible disk configuration with two storage volume modes for video recording now. One is RAID storage volume mode and the other is single HDD storage volume mode. In RAID storage volume mode, users can keep continuous video recording, no longer worry about the effect of the failed HDDs and replace them anytime with hot-swappable technique. In HDD storage volume mode, users can quickly know each HDD recording file corresponding to which storage volume via the first and the last file date column in the intuitive storage volume pool. Depending on this maneuverable design, users can freely configure storage space based on your requirements.

Apart from this, for larger establishments, DIGIEVER NVR also provides enterprise solution to help you expand storage capacity maximum to 1920 TB with DIGIEVER iSCSI Server and DIGIARRY and have sufficient storage capacity.

Microsoft Active Directory to Log In

DIGIEVER NVR supports Microsoft Active Directory (AD) domain service to centralize user privilege accounts (power users and users) to log in NVR. AD domain admin can authorize diverse domain groups to have proper permissions to access DIGIEVER NVR and the MIS engineer can directly manage multiple NVRs to increase management efficiency. Also, the AD admin can view real-time liveview with the same account and no need to memorize username and password separately from different NVRs for large enterprises. What’s more, when using the mini-CMS server on a remote computer, users can also use an AD account to add other DIGIEVER NVRs, monitor up to 256-channel cameras and execute cross-server playback.

Five Advanced Privilege for Power User

DIGIEVER NVR features higher authorization flexibility of user management. For enterprises, the administrator can flexibly enable or disable five privileges (disk management, network setup, log system, system upgrade, and reboot & shutdown) for diverse power user account with different positions to enhance DIGIEVER NVR security management. For example, one power user can only implement disk management, another can execute system upgrade or check log system, and the others can do reboot & shutdown. Therefore, this design allows each power user to independently logon and operate respectively assigned privileges in the NVR by the administrator for improving intracompany information sharing efficiency and power users’ work delivery efficiency.

16-channel Simultaneous Playback

DIGIEVER NVR supports up to 16-channel video recording simultaneously playback at once for local display and remote monitoring. When a burglary event happened, users can watch more cameras playback with different perspectives. If the cameras are from different NVRs, DIGIEVER NVR also features mini-CMS server for users to achieve cross-server playback. Along aside this, DIGIEVER NVR provides more user-friendly functional design in playback for users to quickly and intuitively find the critical moment such as event footage in red, time-divided search, data search, etc.
