DIGIEVER is excited to introduce its new flagship 8-bay rackmount network video recorder - DS-8x00-RM UHD NVR series is available to the market today.

The new PC-less Linux-embedded all-in-one NVR

The DS-8x00-RM UHD series is an 8-bay 2U rackmount NVR that performs outstanding real-time recording ability. The series comes with DS-8200-RM UHD, DS-8300-RM UHD, DS-8400-RM UHD, and DS-8500-RM UHD four sub-series that support up to 128 channels to meet the demand from small to medium-scale surveillance deployment. In comparison to the previous series, the DS-8x00-RM UHD series is upgraded with advanced hardware specifications including Intel ultra-high-speed CPU, two HDMI 2.0a ports, six USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 ports, two 2.5Gigabit ethernet ports, four digital input and four digital output connectors that deliver powerful overall performance and expandability. Compatible with 18TB hard disk in the current market, users can easily create a large storage capacity of up to 144TB for long-term video recording.

Excellent 4K Hardware Decode & 4K Local Display

Powered by Intel H.265 and H.264 hardware decoding technology, the DS-8x00-RM UHD series can deliver brilliant and smooth monitoring and playback experience on both local display and remote computers. Equipped with dual HDMI 2.0 video outputs, the DS-8x00-RM UHD series can display up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) @240fps resolution offering you four times the number of pixels as regular 1080p resolution.

Moreover, the DS-8x00-RM UHD series supports four display modes. Providing users the flexibility to set up their desired monitoring environment. Without installing extra PC, users can monitor two screens in either display each in 4K resolution (Mirror Display), different display modes for monitoring more IP camera channels (Dual Display), focusing on critical areas during video playback (Target Display), or monitor cameras with detailed map information.

Diverse Video Playback Functions and Smart Event Management

The DS-8x00-UHD series boasts intelligent video playback functions and smart event management, while the DIGIEVER NVR facilitates intuitive multi-channel playback. Users can effortlessly view up to 16 recorded videos on either a local display screen or a remote computer. Furthermore, the system includes a smart search function that enables users to efficiently locate essential recorded videos based on various event types such as motion detection, missing object detection, foreign object detection, intrusion detection, loitering detection, cross-line detection, tampering detection, human detection, and audio detection.

Additionally, the DIGIEVER NVR features an extensive event and action management system that supports up to 32 event types and 19 actions. Once users set up their preferred event and desired action notifications, they will receive immediate notifications when the event occurs, greatly minimizing unexpected loss and damage. By implementing the "Chain Event" notification system, users can receive notifications when one or multiple events occur to satisfy different alarm and security needs, while also preventing false alarms.

Simplified Management

The user-interface design of DIGIEVER NVR is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for novices to operate both on remote computers and local displays. Setting up multiple IP cameras can be done either online or offline with just one click, via ONVIF protocol or RTSP streams. The system offers three levels of privileges, enabling administrators to assign various functions to user members or groups. Additionally, DIGIEVER NVR provides detailed log information with its six log categories for users to check.

As a full-flegded video management, DS-8x00-RM UHD has high compatibility with third-party devices such as IP camera, video server, IP video intercom system, access control device, NAS and Modbus Analog I/O and Digital I/O box.
