How to recover your VD UHD+?

Before executing NVR recovery, users need to make your USB device as a boot disk.

At PC


[Step 1] Download FW image file (dual_rootfs.img) from:

               https://drive.google.com/file/d/1owx2Qh8FVKUDbQIWpet381ZoCqqwWMiR/view?usp=sharing               

               (Note: Default recovery FW is FW2.0.0.8-1.  User can update the FW after dual recovery.)

 

[Step 2] Copy FW image file (dual_rootfs.img) to the USB device that contains hk file.

At VD

[Step 1] Plug in the USB to the USB port in front of the NVR.

 

[Step 2] Use a pin to press the reset button behind VD and hold the reset button.  Power on the NVR until the system LED starts flashing green. 

              Then, release the reset button.

 

[Step3] VD will start to recover automatically.

 

[Step 4] After recovery process finishes, VD will shutdown automatically.

 

[Step 5] VD will shutdown automatically.

 

[Step 6] Plug out the USB and turn on VD, and user can boot the VD successfully.
