How to recover your SS-7100-RM?

Before executing NVR recovery, users need to make your USB device as a boot disk.

At PC:

[Step 1] Download FW image file (dual_rootfs.img) from:

               https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q3liTupdpDWCdM2EviPmztmu-OVMdcWv/view?usp=sharing

               (Note: Default recovery FW is FW5.2.0.7.  User can update the FW after dual recovery.)

 

[Step 2] Copy FW image file (dual_rootfs.img)  to the USB device that contains hk file.

 

 

At Streaming Server

 

 

[Step 1] 2. Plug in USB device and a Keyboard to the Streaming Server.

 

[Step 2] Power on the Streaming Server and keep pressing "F12".  Enter "nvrbios".

 

[Step 3] Select "Partition 2".

[Step 4] The Streaming Server will start the dual recovery process.

 

[Step 5] System runs recovery process automatically. Please wait for few minutes.

 

[Step 6] After the process is done, the Streaming Server will shut down automatically.

 

[Step 7] Plug out the boot disk and turn on Streaming Server.

 

[Step 8] Users can boot the Streaming Server successfully.

 

Note:
User may see "Failded to start dnf makecache" info during recovering SS-7100-RM.  Please ignore such info since it will not influence the recovery process.
