How to recover your VD-0000 UHD+ with SN starting with DTW?

Before executing NVR recovery, users need to make your USB device as a boot disk.

*Please make sure the SN of your VD-0000 UHD+ is starting with DTW. You can see the SN at the side of the device.

At PC

1. Download FW file from:

https://www.digiever.com/resource/Documents/Firmware/Decoder/VD-0000_UHD_Plus/update_6_0_0_18.zip

Note: Default Recovery FW is FW6.0.0.18. User can update the FW after dual recovery.

2. Copy FW file to the USB device that contains hk file.

Note: User can change the firmware file, supporting 6.0.0.18 or later versions.

At VD

1. Plug in USB device to VD.

2. Use a pin to press the reset button for about 5 to 10 seconds. Then release the reset button.

3. The VD will start the dual recovery process.

4. Wait a few minutes for recover process. After the process is done, the VD will shut down automatically.
Note: During the process, the screen may turn black due to inactivity. Please DO NOT power off your VD or remove the recovery USB.

5. Plug out the boot disk and turn on VD.

6. User can boot the VD successfully.
