Why do Chrome and Edge keep asking to download NVR Client repeatedly when accessing NVR from an external network?

Situation:
When accessing the NVR from an external network (WAN) via Chrome or Edge, the browser fails to detect the pre-installed NVR-Client and repeatedly prompts the user to download and install it again.

Analysis:
The update of Chrome 147 and Edge 147 introduces security rules to prevent a Public Website (Remote NVR) from reaching out to your Local Computer (NVR-Client). When you access the NVR remotely, the browser blocks this 'cross-network' connection by default. As a result, the browser thinks the NVR-Client is missing and prompts for a re-download, even if it's already installed.
