How to make your USB device as a boot disk for Normal Recovery?

Applied models:

●    DS-16X00-RM Pro(+) / DS-8X00-RM Pro(+) / DS-4100-RM / DS-4100 UHD / DS-2100 UHD / VD-0000 UHD

 

[Step 1] Prepare a USB device more than 2GB.

[Step 2] Download usbit (USB Image Tool) and recovery file via below link:

[Step 3] Unzip usbit (USB Image Tool) and recovery file.

[Step 4] Start USB Image Tool on the PC.

[Step 5] Select USB device and choose "Restore".

[Step 6] Select "recovery.img" file.

[Step 7] Select "yes" to start restore your USB device.

[Step 8] After process, your USB device will contain a update.bin file.

[Step 9] Delete the update.bin file.

[Step 10] Download the correct firmware of the model from DIGIEVER website to root directory of USB and change the name to update.bin.

[Step 11] A boot disk for normal recovery is done.
