Why my NVR cannot enter to login page after I upgrade its version?

Symptom

NVR stays in startup screen after upgrade NVR version.

 

Solution

NVR may not be upgraded properly, please execute NVR recovery.

Before executing NVR recovery, you need to make your USB device as a boot disk.

Please refer to below link:

After making your USB device as a boot disk, you can execute NVR recovery through below SOP:

If you'd like to upgrade to FW72-13 ~ FW74-5, please set a gateway for LAN 2 in Separate IP mode to avoid this situation for other NVR.

Check network setting: Go to Network > Network Setup > Setup

Or Set "Network Interfaces" as "Shared IP".

Or directly upgrade to FW74-6 or later version.

 

Note1: NVR FW68 starts to support LAN2 with no gateway function.

Note2: NVR FW68-3.1 starts to support LAN2 with gateway function.
